Sorry sorry sorry I keep forgetting to blog

Man time goes my fast. I keep forgetting to get on here and write. Anyway getting ready for the county fair. The dutch oven cookoff is tomorrow and Cade wants to do Chipotle Chicken so what am I doing getting it ready for him. Why do I get stuck with the dirty work? I think I am going to attempt to make this smores dessert thing and cherry cobbler perhaps. Earlier this week I helped Ethan and Owen make bird feeders out of milk jugs to enter into the fair and Ethan made a lego ship thing to enter and today I made some nummy bread to enter (my great grandmas recipe). Brandi told me they all got blue ribbons so yeah especially since my bread was kind of lopsided and flakey on top, ya I was sad. Anyway getting ready to barbecue some steaks so see ya later.

Busy few days

I haven't written in a few days and I can't say I didn't think about it its just that everytime I came to the computer I forgot what I was doing, man kids are getting to me. Anyway not too much going on here just getting ready to go to the preparedness fair at the church. Not really sure what its all about but different things in case of a natural disaster and things like that. Last night we went over to Rickeys for his birthday party and it was nice. There was me, Cade and the kids, Brandi, Randy, Ash, Hunter and Oaklee, Tracy and Des and their kids, Joey and his kids, Zach, Kara and their kids, Marianne and Richard, Marilyn and Craig, and then Rickeys sister and her son Archer and his mom and dad Rick and Linda. I think that was all. Anyway I've been busy shopping on the internet for back to school stuff for the kids. You know trying to get the best deal here and there its taken a lot of time but a lot less time and sanity than trying to physically take them shopping especially in St George where it is over 100 degrees. Anyway I think they are all set I hope. There is a back to school party on Wednesday where Ethan gets to see his teacher for next year. I can't believe he is going to be in 2nd grade! I am getting old. Ya this month I turn 27. Wow! 26 isn't too bad cause your still mid 20's but you get to 27 and your upper 20's then pretty soon say goodbye to 20's here comes 30's. Oh dear I'm getting depressed. Oh well I guess I've done a lot in those 27 years. I'm trying to stay positive. I'm currently trying to think of what I want for my birthday and daily am reminding Cade my birthday is coming up or I know I won't get anything. Which sounds bad but it happens believe me what did I get for mothers day? .... I don't know you tell me cause I don't remember anything. Talk about feel low. Especially after having my third baby the month before with no epideral!!! Believe me Cade knows how I feel about this now! I told him we start not caring about each other now than what happens in the future...he got the message I hope. I'll keep you posted. I am thinking about a nice camera and software to take my own pics and edit them. I can't think of anything else I need. Well gift certificates are always nice but usually thats what Marianne gets me. Well kids are up now and are helpless so I better go do everything for them. Have a great day!!!!

So all day yesterday I was going to write a new blog but you know how it goes just busy busy. I had a lot of yard work to do like weed the garden and mow the lawn since today is water day. Went to dinner last night at Fosters for Rickeys birthday. It was good but took forever. When we got home I tried to work on scrapbooking but was just too tired. Wish I had more motivation for it. I did get my pictures separated into events with dates on them to help me when I do get to scrapbooking. Anyways I told myself I would try to incorporate something about the kids in this everyday so I can remember so lets see Owen is upstairs in my bed (his favorite place to sleep) sucking his thumb with his fee fee. That is his blankie or what is left of it. My grandma Ida made him these two receiving blankets when he was born one is green one is yellow. The green one only has a few strings left and the yellow one isn't far behind. His favorite is the green one but if he can't find it the yellow one will do. The only time he sucks his thumb is when he has one of them. When Ethan was little he had his gigi. It was a blue fleece bear blanket that Nancy Walsh gave me for my baby shower. He never did suck his thumb though. Well I guess I better get on with the day before the boys get up hope you all have a great day!

First Blog!!! Yeah!

Well here it goes! My first time blogging. I never thought to do this but my friend Jamie made a good point, it is like a journal. And since I am no good at writing in a journal this may be easier. Anyway just getting back to normal after such a crazy fun busy weekend. We had the Henrie Family Reunion at Papa Steeles next to our house so it was back and forth for three days. It was a lot of fun even though the weather didn't always cooperate. Saturday night was the best though. We played volleyball for 3 hours. Me, Cade, Sara, Dillon, Stoney, Lisa, Candace, Brent, Justin, Marianne, Wade and Tracy. Still sore from it. Then yesterday me, Cade, Candace and Brent went on a Rhino ride and Ethan followed on his motorcycle and went up 5 mile to Indian Hollow to Candace's Enchanted Fairytale Forest or something like that. It was a lot of fun and Ethan loved being able to ride his motorcycle more than just around the block. Then last night me and Ethan went on a bike ride. There is nothing quite like a summer night in Panguitch. The sunset was absolutely breathtaking. Anyway, I'm not sure what other things you blog about but right now Ethan just turned 7, Owen just turned 4 and Isabella is 3 1/2 months old. Cade is still doing Heating and Air Conditioning and I am just being a stay at home mom and loving every minute of it. I'm trying to take advantage of this time in my life when I have an excuse to not work and be able to take care of my kids full time. I never saw myself as being able to stay at home when I was growing up. I always thought I would be a career mom, but once you have kids its hard to want to leave them. I know the time will come when I can work again and I am sure it will be a lot sooner than I want it to be. Anyway I guess I better get the kids ready for bed, Cade's still working. After the holiday weekend he had a lot of service calls to do but he had to wait until he was off work to start them. Hopefully he will be home around 9 or 10.
Love,
Michelle
